I bought a Micronet SP918BK AP in order to increase the range of the signal for a LAN network. The PC where i´m trying to pick up the signal is running XP SP2. The Utility Card is recongnizing the signal, i have configured the IP as the manual indicates (192.168.2.2 - 254), but when i try to access the AP´s console located at 192.168.2.1 i can´t reach it. (http 404)
I don´t know what i need to do. Any suggest?

Did you make sure that you also configured the correct subnet mask as indicated in your manual. Probably 255.255.255.0. Also, did you configure this ip address and subnet mask under the wireless lan in your windows netwrk settings? I would configure the regular Local Area Netwrk connection with the correct ip info and connect via a netwrk cable to the ap's lan port instead of trying to connect to the ap via wireless. Who knows, by default it might be setup with some encryption key or something.
