Hello.
This is a simple question yet I'm still unsure if entirely possible the way I want it. I had a wireless router connected and working to a Cable/Modem in order to connect to another nearby machine with a wireless LAN adapter without problems. Then I moved to my new location. My Wireless router is now located in the basement and the PC with the Wireless card is on the thrid floor......the signal is too poor to connect (Quality of signal is less than 40%) Since moving the wireless closer to that PC is out of the question, I was thinking on adding another wireless Hot Spot in the mid floor as means of repeater so the signal can be picked up by the othe machine.
I think and almost sure this would be a possibility; however, I wouldn't like to invest in technology if for any reason it'll become too expensive to implement (talking in the range of several CAN hundreds) if just by adding a wireless router in the mid floor wouldn't do the trick. Again, no cabling at all between floors.

Any ideas??
Thanks in advance to anyone who bothers to reply or anyone who's done this and just tells me......yeah! you can do that. Examples are welcome
Cheers!

Moris.
