hi guys, i'm pretty new around here but i really
need your help.
I have a fujitsu AMILO A series laptop with a
built in Athros AR5005G wireless card.
A few days a ago ive installed Windows Vista
Beta 2, before that i had Windows XP Pro that
worked just fine with my wireless card.
With Win XP in order to turn on my wireless
card i had to press on a hot-key that i have
on my keyboard but now in Win Vista that key
does not function at all.
Besides the specific hot-key the maual of my laptop
says that i can press the FN+F10 buttons in
order to turn the wireless module on, but as you
can guess its not working too.
Ive tried t install Atheros Client Utility and to
use the Enable Radio option that the software has
but when ive opened the program the Enable Radio
button was gray and i cant press it.
Now i really dont know what to do any more,
please please help me guys !!!!
Thank you very much.

Not sure about Beta 2, but your card should be
supported by Vista. However check in Device
manager.
Sounds to me that you did a clean install?
You'll need to reinstal the Laptops hotkey utill
from the Amilo web site. ____________________ Mick |
