Hi All,

I have a problem with a new wireless router I have just set up. I am sure the answer is simple, but I can't seem to find it!

I set the router up using a laptop, and now the wireless is working with all laptops that are connecting to it (using WEP) except the one that I set the router up with in the first place. I can see the connection, but not connect to it.

Any tips?

Thanks in Advance!

Hi Lewis, I'm new at this and just waiting for my first laptop so dont take anything I say as authoritive, but in my searching for info I came accross a similar problem and all the experts were inputing readily but the answer was found by accident. It was a simple case of different versions of the routers driver! One version had been set up with a USB stick and the other machine which worked was operating on an updated version downloaded from the net. If this is c**p, sorry.
