I've just bought a Belkin router and have connected
the one PC fine (via network cable), however the
other pc is going to be wireless via a USB
adapter.
The usb device is working fine, and it is
showing up on the client list etc and is
communicating ok (ping results are fine), however I
can't access the net from the wireless PC - any
suggestions? There is signal between the router and
usb device, but between router and www there is
just an 'x' ont he wireless utility.
I have deactivated the firewall and virus
software. I think there may be a problem with
the DNS address or gateway - but I'm not sure
- any advice would be great. - Thanks

have you got something like wpa2 as your
protection? because i had a similar issue and all
it turned out to be was my wlan card not
understanding WPA2 because its newer than the card
itself. i siwtched to WPA and it just worked
perfectly.
might not help, but i thought i would throw it
out there.
