Hi,
Friends i want to buy a pocket PC, for
this i visited many sites including citiex.com.
There are a lot of variety available of different
companies. But i am not getting understand what is
the difference b/w PDA & pocket PC. What PDA
stands for.
If u know the best prices of these as compare
to on CitiEX, please reply me. Thanks in

PDA stands for --> personal digital assistant.
it is like a a handheld computer or a
palmtop computer.
Pocket pc is an operating environment for handheld
computers from Microsoft.

Yes, that's about right.
PDAs running the Windows Mobile OS from Microsoft
are called Pocket PCs.
The confusion is not new. See http://palmtops.about.com/od/pda101/l/blchart.htm
for an example of difference between PDAs running
Palm OS and Windows Mobile (Pocket PC).
Generally, If I have a PDA running WM OS, I
call it my Pocket PC, that can be made by any
manufacturer...
I could stand to be corrected, but it's worth a
try!
