You don't have to do it by yourself, you can
send them over your laptop and they'll fix it
for ya.

It’s not as hard or as easy as you may think
to open up a laptop but it is tedious and
loads of screw and small parts. I found a
cleverly made DVD Tutorial Video on how to open
just about any Laptop and replace the power jack
at this address that may help http://www.powerjackrepair.com there are a
lot of hints and tips there too.

Tip.
Take a sheet(s) of A4 - place it next to your
work area, somewhere safe. Then as you remove a
screw place it within a drawn circle in the
same area on the sheet.
Not fool proof, but better than a cap off an
arosol can/ashtray
