I'm having the weirdest problem after installing a cell phone as a modem on
my Vaio laptop.
It has built-in wireless LAN and a normal RJ-45 lan connection.
It functioned properly since the aforementioned installation.
When the cable was disconnected, it automatically switched to WLAN.
Now, after creating the remote connection for the modem, the wireless
connection is simply ignored.
I can't even ping anything.
I set up Internet explorer to NOT use remote connection, so that it uses
LAN.
With cable connection everything is OK.
If I disconnect the cable, no way Jose'.
The wireless is ON, has excellent signal, is corectly hooked up to the
axcess point as it has always been, but it's just as if it doesn't exist.
It's there, ready and functional, but the OS simply ignores it.
What's up?

PS: I've tried disabling all other connections, I also disabled Bluetooth
as it can cause problems if simultaneously on together with WLAN, but at no
avail.
It seems an OS problem...

Problem solved. It was the access point which had locked out just my PC
and not others. Resetting the AP solved the problem.
