Hi, you could download this software on the website www.nav4all.nl. This is free of charge till August 15 this year and it is easy to use. It can be applied to 54 types of mobile phone and check the specifications on this website. Besides, you could update it regularly (also free of charge). There is also GPS receiver sold on this site and you can choose according to your preferences.

This Nav4all thing sounds very appealing. Do you know which countries are supported? I am particularly interested in the Philippines..

patroklos_06 - 5/5/06 at 11:54

On their website they show that they offer their services in tagalog. One could assume that the program works in the Philippines as well then.

as I read on their website Navteq is being supported by them so may be you can check through them if Philippiness are covered.

fresh_stone - 15/6/06 at 18:33

hey, what about the UK. does somebody know how it works here?

nanny - 16/6/06 at 15:48

well the coverage should be everywhere the same since it depends on the satelites screening

uncle - 20/6/06 at 13:38

do you know where I can find a gps receiver from? I wanna try the software but for this purpose I need to find this device.

nanny - 21/6/06 at 13:02

they offer several places. I've seen that nav4all has it for 69 eur on their website.

fresh_stone - 22/6/06 at 12:32

if I use it in the city, approximately how much is the internet usage monthly

nanny - 23/6/06 at 10:41

I will try it soon and then I would be able to tell you approximately

uncle - 26/6/06 at 11:30

for a route of 50 km it shouldn't take more than 10-20Kb I suppose.

fresh_stone - 19/7/06 at 15:27

since the free lunch will be terminated soon, does someone know how much would the monthly fee be?

uncle - 31/8/06 at 19:16

it's not free anymore but obviously they don't refresh the news. it's said nowhere how much the fee would be. I am using it and I am still not sure.

check the other topic you've posted. I mentioned it's free untill 2008.
