I have just my house using a Belkin ADSL Modem-Router model number F5D7633-4. I am having problems with the internet connection.

My laptop is working fine at the normal broadband speed, but my home desktop (which is connected directly to the router) is extremely slow. Is there anything that i can do to speed up the connection between the router and the desktop.

I dont know if this will help but i am based in the UK, and havent tried file transfers with either machine.
