Hi,

Dl-624+, WinXP, WEP enabled and MAC filtering.

Configured the router to connect to the cable modem via WAN and attached my PC to one of the LAN ports on the router. All is well on the (wired) PC side but all is not well on the wireless laptop.

Problem 1.
I had to manually assign an IP otherwise connection status was Limited even with DHCP enabled.
Once I manually assigned an IP connection status showed as "connected".

Problem2.
With the "connected" connection status I was unable to access the internet or ping the router, "request timed out".

What should I check/modify?
