I can connect when the modem is connected directly to the PC or laptop (no wireless network) but when I plug the ethernet cable from the modem into the router, the internet light stays amber.
I've tried plugging an ethernet cable from the modem to the router and then another from the router to the computer, but it still doesn't recognise the internet connection.
I've recently changed internet providers and had a wireless network set up on the router and all worked fine (could both connect to the net through the network).
Please help me
