hi i recently bought 2 safecom 11mbps wireless pci cards. i have installed both cards into my machines. both are running winxp. i got updated drivers for these cards from the windows update site (amd1772 drivers) on the first machine i set this up and added the ssid and the card springs to life, did the same on the second and it saw the first machine but wont let me access either machine. a message appears saying aquiring ip address. i tried to set this manually but it still searches. i am not using an access point as i just want an ad-hoc network.
can anybody tell me where i'm going wrong
