Ok so this was my last post
Ok so I was Reading Wi-Fi for dummies and I am going to go with 802.11g
standard And anyway i need to ask if i want to use my laptop wirlessly for
the internet (not bothered about networking) but it would be an extra so do
i have to get both my laptop and desktop enabled wirlessly or just the
laptop and i can plug the modem straight in to the desktop still also does
the modem plug into the router then the router into the phone line (and the
power obviously) or do i have to do something else aswell so basically can
someone plz tell mne what i need
I basically want to share an internet connection between my 2 computers and
from what i understand from wi-fi for dummies you plug the modem into the
router (i have bt broadband) then the router to the phoneline do i need my
desktop wirelessly enabled aswell or will i be able to plug it into the USB
port still
all-in-all i want to know what i need o get and how to fit it together so i
know in advance
any help will be greatly appreciated

I am getting the wireless gear in a few days and was just wondering how
will i connect to the internet will it be the same start > connect to
> Bt Broadband > connect or will it be different??
