I am purchasing an apt in Pune India with a concept of Digital Home. It is going to be ready by 2006. I am OK with the features like checking status of appliances and switches remotely and controlling them. Remote access to security cameras.secure card entry to the house, Wi-fi connectivity for broadband etc. etc What intrigues me is the security part involved. This Builder has not mentioned anything about it or for that matter any help centre that will solve my problems.....well he says it is outsourced and the contracted company takes care of this.

Has anyone stayed in such homes? What sort of questions should I ask my builderor the service provider that will help me keep my files and data from being accessed without my knowledge. Your input is much appreciated.
