Hi there! Ive set up a little wireless network
in my house which is very happily used by
myself and my 5 house mates.
The problem is that some of the house REALLY
dont understand how much they are downloading, we
only get 1Gig a day and set people are in the
habit of downloading 2\3 films a day!
So the question..........Is there anyway you can limit
the amount someone downloads by there IP
address?
Im really stuck on this and im sorry if its
been asked before but I cant find referance to
it anywhere!!
Cheers all!

Hello There,
Researched this a couple of months back so things
may have changed but i found two ways of
achieving this, both with a piece of software
called bandwidth manager
(ttp://www.softperfect.com/products/bandwidth/)
1. Install bandwidth manager on every PC on ur
network and setup to limit each clients bandwidth.
2. Setup a PC as a NAT router and install
bandwidth manager on the router.
Hope this helps.
