i have wireless broadband using a tranzeo tr-cpq. i
complained to my provider about bad installation
and poor service and since then my download speed
stays in the 300's. before even though service was
flaky i got 500 to 1000. anyone know how i
can prove the provider put a limit on my speed.
i assume that they can do that. or can i
override the limit somehow in the tranzeo config
screens? any help or advice will be greatly
appreciated. i can be emailed at jerthemost@yahoo.com

Providers can put limits on bandwidth usage. You
should look in your contract to see if there's a
certain speed that you've agreed to pay for. If
your Internet connection is consistently falling below
that speed, then you have good reason to
complain.

Unfortunately, there is a current trend --an
unfortunate trend at that -- providers are not
giving the consumers what is originally we understood
to be in the contract. Some of them are not
very honest with their services. Oh well, they
should really wait for the competition to come in
harshly.

yes definately your provider will restrict your speed
of internet.
based on your contract they will give the speed.

Provider can restrict your internet speed. i was
facing the same problem few time back. On inquiring
I came to know that they have increased their
users .
I have lodged a complaint against them but have
discontinued the services.
Now I am paying little more but happy what i
have got .
thanks
