Hi everyone

Hope someone can help..

I have windoze XP media edition SP2 directly connected to a Netgear dg834gt router via a cable (instead of its usual wg111t adapter.) I've managed to connect to the router & internet via choosing LAN in My Network Places and have also (for some reason unknown to computer science) removed the router antenna..

My questions are:
- Have I now no security whatsoever for my pc (doh!) eg. WEP seems obviously disabled..
- What other settings should I consider re: security (seem to be getting a lot of DOS attacks according to my router logs, hmm..)
