I thought I would share this with the group. Some of you may have it
already. It is called AirSnare.
Q: What does this program do?
A: AirSnare monitors network traffic for unfriendly MAC addresses and
alerts you when a MAC address is found that isn't on the friendly list.
AirSnare also monitor DHCP requests from clients.
Very cool program.. Here the link. http://home.attbi.com/~digitalmatrix/airsnare/

Speaking of cool Wi-Fi Software - I downloaded this software from a company
called PCTEL that automatically detects and connects you to wi-fi networks
and saves your ssid and includes a downloaded database of hotspots. It
found it on Download.com under Wi-Fi and I love it. It is free for 30
days and then you have to buy it for $30 but it has made my traveling from
hotspot to hotspot so much easier. http://download.com.com/3000-2085-10193457.html?tag=lst-0-1
Here is a description I found The Segue™ Roaming Client is the premier tool
for managing access to Wi-Fi® networks in the home, in the enterprise, or
in the rapidly growing number of public Wi-Fi® "hotspots". Additional
versions of the Roaming Client support connections to 2.5G and 3G cellular
data networks such as CDMA2000 1x and GPRS.

Hi there
Detecting intruders is the easy part. What you really want to do is BLOCK
them. Try our free WIFI Internet Access Blocker. Version 2 just released
supports non-monitor mode, WEP/WPA and gives you real-time intruder alerts
and logging. Download it from http://www.myWIFIzone.com
