Hi,
I have a Belkin ADSL modem router connected to my BT-line. I have Tiscali
Broadband. I have my main computer in another room with a USB wireless
adaptor, also from Belikin. I am running with 128-bit WEP and at first,
the setup seemed to be okay. However, I am now finding that whenever I
boot up my PC (router is always on), I have to log into the router from my
PC and manually connect to the internet. I've checked the proxy settings
in the manual against my actual setup and it's fine.
Can anyone shed any light on this.
Thanks . . . IIB

Thanks. I resolved the issue with the help of Belkin technical support.
There is a "Dial on-demand" option which I hadn't seen on one of the router
screens and this was untidcked. I would have expected it to be checked
when using the default configuation.
Anyhow, thanks for all the helpful suggestions . . . IIB
