I hope someone will be kind enough to help out on this.. SITUATION:
Cable Modem to Netgear Wireless router -Cat 5 from router to
NIC/Desktop(WinME), Cannon MP printer connected to Desktop via USB.
Upstairs: two laptops- 1st is toshiba w/XP home OS and Netgear PCMCIA card
802g.
2nd laptop Sony w/WinME OS, and Motorla PCMCIA.
PROBLEM: Cannot connect either laptop to the printer/ desktop. enabled
priinter sharing on desktop, rebooted and still cannot see desktop
network/Printer. Suggestions please?

Disable the firewall on all the computers. Make sure that u r able to ping
eachother. Configure same workgroup name and a diff computer name to all
the computers. Also make sure that u have the priter shared on your
desktop.
Try this it'll defenetly work..
