Hi all, new to this forum so I hope someone can shed some light on this problem.

Running multiple XP PC in a 3Com (rebadged from Trapeze) wireless environment, at the moment using only WPA encryption. The problem I'm seeing seems to suggest that the PC's are caching a particular AP regardless of whether the signal strength is adequate or not. This is causing a lot of PC's, even though they are close to an AP having low or no connection at all because they seem to be associated with an AP on another floor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
