Windows 98 wireless problem

Thread: Windows 98 wireless problem

I am configuring a windows 98 computer to access a bt voyager wireless network. I have install the drivers and it has installed the card and the utilities to go with it. There are already 2 computers using the wireless network and they work fine using XP but on the win98 comp it sometimes finds the connection but then looses it and doesn't assign an ip.
Is there something i am doing wrong or do i need to do something else?

thank you

I've gotten a Linksys WMP54G and a Gigabyte GN-WPKG running on win98. If you
replace the ndis.vxd with a newer one from win98se or winme.

AOL ships all the network files with every CD can get the ndis.vxd from there.

I'm trying to connect a Win 98 machine to my WiFi network, I've connected other machines no problem, but I can't find the Wireless network icon in My computer to set passwords etc up. Any ideas why ??

Confused here !!!
