Anybody know how i use a belkin f5d7130 just as an access point to connect to my existing netgear wireless router ?

I plan to plug this into my xbox once working but cant even get it working on my laptop yet.

Anybody know how to do this please ?

Does the SSID and channel need to be the same as the one i want to connect to ?
I have done this with another access point (3com) and it worked straight away, any clues would be gratefull.

Thanks

Alan

Hi yes you are on the right tracks, the SSID and channel need to be the same along with any encryption you are using (YOU ARE USING ENCRYPTION ARE'NT YOU).

Then on the belkin router you need to set the IP of your primary router as it's default gateway and for DNS requests.
