I connect my laptop to my router usin wireless so i can acess the internet but after say 30 minutes its like someone has turned the internet off, to solve it i choose the wireless connection and i repair it which then solves it but only for half an hour, my laptop is an acer 3273, router is a netgear wrg614 and my internet is 4mb broadband from virgin media(i live in england)
id appreaciate some help,

Have a look for an idle time out or similar setting on your router, should be - allways on, nailed up, or similar.
Have a look in device manager. See if your Laptop can stop your wireless adapter working to save power?

ill have a look about the idle setting and re the laptop

Fellsider,

think i may have solved it, i read somewhere abouyt electrical appliances affecting the wifi signal and to change the channel, so i changed the channel and it seems to be ok now
