Hi, we have a problem with zyair G-4100 which is
very hard to debugg. Zyair G-4100 is hooked
to hughes satellite modem with a satellite service
of 1.5mbs down and 450kbs up. We have managed
to limit the per-user bandwidth to 128kbps down /
64kbps up, because prior to that, a single user
was usually slowing everyone else down. Since
then, and especially after upgrading to the latest
firmware, things are better. However, every now
and then, especially when the session list grows to
be 30 or over sessions from one user, the
router web administration page is slow to respond
or nearly non responsive. We also tried limmiting
the number of sessions per user to 30 but end
up with not that much better behavior. In all
the instances DHCP functions pretty good as I am
always able to get an IP. However the login
page which, every new user should see when trying
to access the web, is not comming up.
Refreshing it random number of times would end up
bringing the page up, and sometomes not.
Restarting the router doesn't always help. Seems
that things get better and worse at random but
problems always start when one user opens up a
large number of sessions (tcp or udp connections).
