I have recently been contracted by a local hotel to setup a Wireless Internet in their hotel. I can see the signal from all over the building. But the rooms are having trouble getting a singnal. I have a Linksys WRT54G Router, and 9 Access points (WAP54G) 3 on each floor. Each AP is in the celing. Each floor is 10,000 sqft, and we are getting desperate. Does anyone have any idea why we would be having such interferance? Please let me know ASAP!!!!!!!

James,
I use Netstumber to test and track wireless networks. You can down load the program from netstumbler.com. Also how close are your access points to; power wire, light assembles, AC units, microwave ovens, Building firewalls, major support structures, and any other items? I have seen the EM fields mess with my wireless setups before. I hope this helps

I'm working on setting up a wireless network in a hotel, and i can't seem to find anything (other then WEP) to allow the customer to us the wireless network, and block all others. I don't want to have to change the WEP ever few weeks, and hand out long keys. I also would like to know how you are stopping computers from seeing each other with a WRT54G?
