I am running Windows XP & wish to completely remove a paid for wifi hotspot, going to wireless networks -> remove doesn't work, for the hotspot still recognizes my computer when I turn my wireless adapter back on (that is, it doesn't ask me to sign back in). I also tried changing my computer name, domain name, ... (along with wireless networks -> remove) then restarting my computer. How is the hotspot identifying me? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Probably the hotspot has your PC/Laptops MAC address in it's realm, as a paid up member.
A way some wireless networks identify clients, rather than a username/password login page.
Contact the hotspot provider, and ask them to remove you.
