Hi , am Michael and would like to ask whether it is possible to extend my WIFI using the antenna of an FM transmitter. The Omnidirectional Antenna is used by an fm station transmitting on the 88.7Mhz freq. and it is about 40 feet above ground level. My friends house is 4 blocks from mine and i would like to extend my internet connection to his house. Can i Extent the connection by connecting the antenna cable of my Router to the cable of the Fm Transmitter?

Secondly Is it possible to extend a WIFI using a car omnidirectional antenna? Can someone link me to a site where i can be introduced to how to construct an omnidirectional antenna? Thanks

Hey Michael. Yes, I think it's possible. It's actually very easy and easily explained using a video. I suppose this www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Make-a-WIFI-Extender-10200 should assist you.
