I have installed a safecom usd 802.1g adapter on
a win 98 se system. It was set up using wep
security. I can see the other systems on the
network and transferred files successfully however I
now have problems with firefox, IE and my AV
sotware that cannot find the internet. My other
systems are using the internet ok and are set up
the same on the router. The wifi connection
works as I can see the other systems however
firefox gets an iiliegal code and ie cannot resolve
address and wants to send error reports. I un
installed the software and reverted to my lan card
but IE etc still having problems. It seems to
have corrupted something but where do I look next?
