Am using Netgear G wireless router
Firware version : Version 3.50 Jan 8 2004
DSL provider is SBC-Yahoo. I have a 2-wire router/DSL modem that came with
my service. Ethernet cable goes from 2-wire router to my wireless router.
And from the wireless router am using one port for my desktop. (just
standard setup). I have a laptop with Netgear b wireless access card.
The problem am having is: From my desktop I cannot get to
www.hotmail.com...say's cannot find server. From my laptop...i don't have
this problem.
All other sites...not had a problem. Kinda weird.
I changed the setup a lil bit. My 2-wire router has 2 ports. I used one of
the ports to directly connect to my desktop,(not going thru Netgear
wireless router) in that case..i can get to hotmail.com..just fine. This
points to Netgear as the culprit.
