I am planning on just getting any linksys wireless router from newegg. My questions concerns my desktop replacement (dell xps) and my desktop. I was wondering if i would experience any of the lag that comes with a wireless router if the xps and the desktop were connected (via ethernet cable) to the wireless router. Would the preformance be the same? (might sound noob but i wanted to make sure)

i'm looking into getting a www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833124002 . one of the reviews said that they had no problems hooking a MAC up to the network. I just wanted confirmation that it works.

Fairly new to the wireless arena, Thanks.
