Here we go ! . I have just bought a laptop with a wireless card in it , bought a4 way router with a wireless connection and spent the last two days sitting all around the house and garden having fun surfing and playing games online .
It all worked pretty smoothly once i had read the manual .
Now is the point im going to get adventurous and take it outside the 100m range lol .
Im going to be going to glasgow airport next week and would like to take it with me to busy away the long wait for the flights.
I assume that airports have several hotspots ? , i also assume thats what they are called lol . And without buying any extra equipment i can just look around and keep checking the networks available .
Now is the big question , will i have to sign up to an ISP? do they have pay as you go type contracts ? or fingers crossed , is it free?
If i need an isp , does anyone have a link for any uk based ones?
heres hoping
Dale
