I'm trying to set-up a wireless network in my house using the Netgear DG834G modem router and having Toucan as a my broadband provider but I can't do it. I have a wireless connection established and connected but I can't surf the net through it. Has anyone had experience of this? Are there any setting exclusive to Toucan that are restricting this network?
I am not completely computer proficient so the less terminology the better I'm afraid!!

any help would be deeply appreciated! cheers

you need to connect router to telephone line and PC using your LAN cable provided with the router
from explorer enter router ip address type admin + password (this info will come with router)
run setup wizard this should detect necessary setup details
ADSL setting you need to contact Toucan ask them details forVC-Based or LLC-based
VPI and VCI

good luck
