IRVINE, Calif., September 23, 2003 ? Continuing to drive the wired world to wireless, Toshiba's Computer Systems Group (CSG) will offer free Wi-Fi Internet service on Thursday, Sept. 25, in support of Intel's nationwide "One Unwired Day" event. Free Wi-Fi Internet access will be available at select SurfHere? by Toshiba locations at participating Barnes & Noble bookstore locations (Atlanta), McDonalds (Chicago and Milwaukee metropolitan areas) and The UPS Store locations (Chicago). Toshiba notebook computers, featuring Intel's? CentrinoTM mobile technology, will be featured at all "One Unwired Day" festival events. With a handful of practicing physicians and just 67 beds, Deaconess St. Joseph's Hospital in Huntingburg, Ind. is not exactly a powerhouse institution.
