Leicestershire Sub-Post Offices Now Equipped With Internet Access



UK-/20 Oct, 2004 - The Wi-Fi Technology Forum/-Leicestershire sub-post offices are leading the UK in a pilot scheme to provide customers with access to a wide range of information and services, including jobs, pension and childcare, at the touch of a button. The new service launched Monday October 18. BT is installing "Community Point" information kiosks in 50 sub-post offices in the county in partnership with the National Federation of SubPostmasters and Multimedia International Services Limited.
