    Pronto Networks and Psion Teklogix Partner to Provide Public WLAN Services to Wi-Fi Network Operators

    Pleasanton, CA and Mississauga, ON, Canada, Sep 8, 2003 - Pronto Networks, a leading provider of carrier-class OSS solutions for large Wi-Fi hot spot networks, and Psion Teklogix, (LSE: PON), a global provider of solutions for mobile computing and wireless data collection, today announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership whereby the Network Services division of Psion Teklogix will offer comprehensive Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) installation and maintenance services on a global basis for Pronto Networks' customers.     IPWireless and UP Tech Form Partnership For Device Development and Distribution of Mobile Broadband Technologies to Operators in China


    Malmesbury, Wiltshire UK, Sept. 8, 2003 ? IPWireless announced today that is has entered into a development and distribution partnership with UP Tech, a communications equipment and solutions provider in China. As part of the alliance, UP Tech is developing new subscriber devices for the IPWirelessTM Mobile Broadband system.     Romania's Leading Mobile Phone Operator Increases Competitive Advantage by Introducing SS7 over IP using the Cisco IP Transfer Point, 7513 Platform

    BUCHAREST, Romania -- Connex, Romania's leading mobile phone company, is the first operator in the country to build an IP-based Signalling System 7 (SS7) network using Cisco technology. The Cisco IP Transfer Point (ITP) will be used to transport all of Connex's SS7 traffic including the ISDN User Part (ISUP), Transaction Capabilities Application Part (TCAP) and Short Message Service (SMS) traffic. In addition, the Cisco Signalling Gateway Manager (SGM) will be deployed to provide highly efficient monitoring and management of this new SS7 network.
