FCC ANNOUNCES AGENDA FOR THE VOICE OVER IP FORUM TO BE HELD ON DECEMBER 1, 2003

Washington, D.C., November 25, 2003/The Wi-Fi Technology Forum/- The Federal Communications Commission announces a Forum to discuss Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). All FCC Commissioners will participate. The hearing is open to the public, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The hearing date, time, and location are:

With the increase in popularity for laptop or notebook computers starting to eat into the monopoly once held by desktop, PC users are increasingly becoming more mobile in their use of computing technology. Laptop and tablet PCs are believed to account for 26% of all new PC shipments, with around 33 million expected to be shipped in 2003. Visiongain believes that by 2006, 90% of all corporate users' laptops will include wi-fi capability.
