This is a 10base-T/100Base-TX smart uplink module for the 2824/2724 dual speed hubs.??Smart Uplink connection technology increases the number of hubs allowed within a network and extends the distances between hubs well beyond the Fast Ethernet standard guidelines. Smart Uplink Modules isolate collision domains and restart repeater hop counts. This allows multiple connections and hierarchical 'pyramid' configurations similar to 10Base-T configurations.
