It looked easy enough - I've bought a belkin ASDL router/modem to connect to the internet wirelessly to one laptop. I have broadband through a BT line, so I've bought the right kit. I followed the instructions word for word, connected the ethernet cable to the laptop, modem/router was plugged in and connected to phone line with filter. Green lights shone encouragingly saying all was well, but my broadband 'arrows' on my laptop were red, and when I typed in the numbers in I.E. as instructed, I was told page not available offline, but I couldn't connect either. So how do I get this damn interface up so that I can find even more frustrating problems? Half an hour has turned into three days and I'm so pee'd off it hurts!
