Description: Educational institutions share with other organizations the desire to overcome some of the major challenges of phone systems, such as the costs for moves/adds/changes. There are some issues related to phone systems that are specific to the education sector, however, that are discussed in this survey report. Conducted by Computerworld, the results of this survey are meant to serve as a brief benchmarking tool for IT managers in education seeking information about how their peers are managing their telecommunications systems. The survey for this report was commissioned by ShoreTel, with the data gathered and tabulated independently by Computerworld Research.
