Hi,
I recently purchased a packard bell laptop , and it has WiFi . I already have a computer with Broadband , So i want to buy a router , so i can use the internet on my laptop .

Im really unsure what to buy , do i just need to buy a router , that connects to my broadband ... and my wifi will pick up the signal ........ or do i need a router and a usb router thing? for my laptop .. to recieve the signal .

Im really lost.

I would be soo so so grateful if someone could just explain this all to me in SIMPLE terms lol .

Hi Fee

I have just done what you need to do......that is

I have purchased a Wireless-G Broadband Router. Bought the Linksys WRT54GS. This goes in between your broadband modem and your PC. Your laptop will then connect to it wirelessly. you dont need usb thingy.

Please note that not all routers work with all broadband providers. please ask the shop about compatability before you purchase anything.

Regards
Pompey
