Hello.

Our new Cisco Aironet client cards (AIR-CB21AG-E-K9) connect OK to our AP's
running WPA and WPA2, with WPA2-PSK security - AES encryption.

Our Proxim PC cards (8470-WD) only connects with WPA- TKIP.

When running the Proxim client supplicant s/w, or when you let Windows
XP WZCSVC manage the wireless network, doesn't give you the option for
WPA2 security. (I have installed the new Windows XP hotfix 893357 to
allow WPA2) Whereas my Cisco card, when XP manages wireless, does.

I've read somewhere you need to have hardware upgrades to use WPA2.
Would this be the case for a client card as well ? Or does it just
need a newer driver ? (I can't find one off Proxim.com just yet)

Thanks.
