Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me? my problem is I have a laptop and my 2 flatmates have a PC each, All are connected to the internet through 1 router ( I'm wireless and the other 2 are connected by LAN).

We agreed that if we are going to download stuff, we would only download 2 things at a time each not to slow our systems down...........................like that lasted!

My laptop is REALLY slow 1 or 2 Mbps , the highest it has ever got is 5.5 Mbps. I also keep losing connectivity to limited or no connectivity but the signal is excellent (the router is in the next room behind a thin wall). Everywhere else I use my laptop it’s 11 or 22Mbps.

Is there anyway ( software e.t.c.) that enables me to see what is being downloaded through the router.................I think this is where I'll get some answers!

Thanks Again!
John

Sorry mate, not that I know of. However, have you thought of creating separate IP addresses to the net for each user? My friend uses this at his house and it certainly helps with downloading etc.
