I have three laptops working wirelessly off a wireless router connected to a cable modem. Never a problem. I bought my daughter a used router and decided to make sure it works before Christmas.

I simply connected the power to the used router I bought, then took the eternet cable form the router I have connected to my router and connected it to the used router I bought and tried to get online. It would not get online on any of my computers. It is showing a good connection on my computers to the new router. I went to the network tab, and made sure I got connected to the used router I bought, which shows it did. But still no internet. Is there something I am missing here? The router I have been using is 802.11b/g as well as the cards in my laptops. the used router I bought for my daughter is 802.11, and that is what the connection it shows when I check it. Any ideas??
