Im sure this question has been asked a thousand times.
I am currently picking up my neighbors wireless signal. I like the idea of
free high speed Internet. The air is free. I have seen rubber 8dBi antennas
that one can connect to his 802.11g card to boost the RX/TX signals.
However, I'm not sure this will provide big enough ears and mouth to my
neighbors access point. I am thinking that some kind of outdoor antenna to
mount on the roof would do. Of course, then one needs to worry about
attenuation through the cable.
So what is the best antenna out there that I can use to boost my neighbors
signal and snoop on their wi-fi connection?
