My wife and I each have Toshiba laptops with XP. Mine has a built in Toshiba wireless system, and hers has a Microsoft MN-520 adapter card. Otherwise the computers are nearly identical. We share a wireless network with a neighbor. When our computers are sitting side by side, my network connection signal strength shows Good and hers shows Low . My web connections are noticeably faster than hers.

Any ideas on why this difference exists?

Thanks.
