Product Review Summary: Best of its kind. A bit hard to decipher at first, but once I got used to it this is the best math reference book I've ever had. I'll never need another one unless I wear this one out (not likely...SERIOUS binding) and if I do I'll have to get the same book again. Fascinating history revealed in the introductions to previous versions.
Product Review Summary: Amazing Mathematical "Dictionary" When I first received this book, I spent literally hours admiring not only its myriad mathematical formulae but also the sheer labor that went into writing, editing, and organizing this book. I use it nearly daily as reference, and its more than just a big table of integrals.
The only issue I have with it is that its CD-ROM does not contain the book in LaTeX or PDF format; one has to view the book with a web browser.
Product Review Summary: intensive tables almost complete tables, as much as this is possible due to the shear amount of integrals. requires some getting used to in order to use the tables on the fly. nice to know that there is a web page which lists corrections to wrongly printed integrals, however I would prefer correct tables from the get go!

Previous version was not reliable since full of misprints.
Now, thanks also to the help of many readers, they have been corrected.
Surely some are left, but now this book can be considered a very reliable and useful tool.
Product Review Summary: I can't believe it! I have the book version of this title and it is a great and incredibly useful book so I decided to buy the CD version to have it always available on my laptop and desktop. You can imagine my surprise and disappointment when I discovered that the software included in the CD is not compatible with Linux! This CD uses an obsolete piece of software (the install instruction for Windows refer to Windows 95!) that has no equivalent (up to my knowledge) in the Linux environment.
I wrote to the Costumer Service of AP but got no answer.
Hopefully they will get to their sense and do a decent version 2 of this product. By now it is pure junk.
