Product Review Summary: Dobrin, et al a winner I recently redesigned my tech writing course from the ground up, looking at all the top TCOM texts. There are other very good choices, but I selected Dobrin and feel pleased with the decision. Students find the book readable, and some even claim to refrain from selling it at the end of the semester. The online resources are rich and useful. Students like the video cases, although they smile at the acting. I am a little disappointed that a new edition came out so soon, requiring me to completely revise schedules and syllabi when the only change seems to be addition of a single chapter.
Note that the negative reviews on this book are about shipping and vendors, not about the book itself.
