Product Description

If food dropped like rain from the sky, wouldn't it be marvelous! Or would it? It could, after all, be messy. And you'd have no choice. What if you didn't like what fell? Or what if too much came? Have you ever thought of what it might be like to be squashed flat by a pancake?

Product Review Summary: cloudy review

This is one of my favorite books! I had read it to my sons (now in their thirties) and now bought a copy for myself and my granddaughter. It was great to read it again.

Product Review Summary: For all ages

I sent this to a 4-year old as a gift, based on reader reviews. His 12-year old brother said it was one of HIS favorite books when he was "little," and he dropped everything to read it to his younger brother. The 7-year old sister loves it, too.

Product Review Summary: Meatballs book

I don't really like this book because of its ugly colors and style of artwork, it's too wordy, and it's just kind of too weird for my taste, but my 2 1/2 year old seems to like it enough to ask me to read it to him every now and then, and he's the reason I bought it.

Product Review Summary: Loved this book!

I bought this book for my 6 yr. old grandson. He's in kindergarten and has begun reading independently. This is a book we read together and talked about the plot and characters. The whole family enjoyed it. We have not seen the movie yet, but do plan to go soon. This is a classic book and a great story. If your child's school uses AR for reading comprehension this is an AR book - I don't remember the level, but I think it is over third grade. The illustrations are quite engaging! A must read.

Product Review Summary: Everyone should buy

This book is a must buy for all kids, you are sure not to be dissapointed. Great story and very fun!
